Bee Wax 100% natural

Beeswax is a mixture of natural wax produced by honeybees, 100% food-safe natural oils, and other additives to improve the appearance of wood, protect it from harmful effects, and preserve its lifespan.

the components

Main components:

  • 100% pure beeswax: Beeswax and other types of wax provide extra protection and a subtle sheen.
  • Thickeners: Silica to improve wax viscosity and flow.
  • Wax esters:
  • Palmitate esters: Derived from palmitic acid, they impart hardness and stability to wax.
  • Palmitoyl esters: Esters contribute to the softness and flexibility of the wax.
  • Free fatty acids:
  • Palmitic acid: A saturated fatty acid that helps to harden wax.
  • Oleic acid: A monounsaturated fatty acid that contributes to the softness of wax.
  • Hydrocarbons:
  • Paraffin: A saturated hydrocarbon that adds hardness and stability to wax.
  • Alkenes: Unsaturated hydrocarbons that contribute to the flexibility of wax.

Other components:

  • Vitamins: Vitamins A, D, and E.
  • Pigments: Natural pigments, carotenoids, and chlorophyll.
  • Impurities: propolis, pollen grains.

Uses:

Safe on all types of natural wood surfaces, whether hard or soft, used in the manufacture of household furniture, wooden utensils (plates/cups/spoons/forks), wooden pieces, and wooden kitchen and bathroom countertops.

Do not use on marble, copper or plastic.

How to use:

  • The surfaces are thoroughly cleaned to remove any dirt or impurities.
  • The surface is coated with a soft brush or a piece of cotton cloth and left to dry and for the wood to fully absorb the product (the rate of absorption depends on the dryness of the wood and the proportion of natural oils inside it).
  • The painting process is repeated again after an hour to ensure that the wood has absorbed the first coat.
  • It is recommended to use Butcher Block Oil for the first coat of the same product to get better results and complete sealing in the case of wooden utensils and pieces.
  • The product is left to dry at each stage without wiping with any cloths to ensure the wood absorbs the oily or waxy substances.
  • After 24 hours, wipe the surface with a clean, dry cloth if there is visible oil or wax on the surface.
  • Wooden utensils and pieces should be washed with a soft sponge only.
